Queenie Wormgear, nee "Here Dog," was born on the edge of the vast wilderness outside Yellow Snow, Yukon Territory. Unlike her brothers and sisters in the litter, Queenie was able to understand English by the age of 6-weeks! Her limited vocabulary skills, however, kept her from expressing herself -- until she happened to meet Sgt. Wormgear at a Mountie Trade Show at the Numb Thumb Minining and Convention Center in 1881. The two hit if off immediately, and soon the pure-bred husky (actually a mixed breed of unknown origin) began making canine crime-fighting history!
Queenie's life was forever changed shortly before she met Sgt. Wormgear when she met a squirrel named "Mickey."
Mickey was a kind-hearted, nut-gathering, fun-loving little guy who seemed to understand Queenie and her desires to communicate. The two became fast friends who were inseparable. Unfortunately...Mickey met an untimely end, when, during a rambunctious game of tag, his little head ended up clinched between Queenie's powerful, soon-to-be crime-fighting teeth. Queenie never looked another squirrel in the eyes.
