Caringer and Friends on 800 AM WLAD provided the glue connecting the news and information portions of each hour.  My job was to entertain -- between News, Traffic, Weather and Sports.  An interesting challenge.  And, yes, that's me doing all the voices...except Bart -- he's, pretty much, real.

When I got an unexpected call to fill in on the morning show on WICC in Bridgeport, CT - I brought along my longtime sidekick, Bruce the Belldinger to help me adapt. 

     When, a copy of the Magna Carta was put up for auction in New York City. 

     Bruce the Belldinger decided he wanted to bid on it and bring it to Danbury

     where he would use this priceless document to build a breakfast and lunch place

     around: "The Magna Carta Grill."  This is a longer clip to give you an idea of the

     flow of the morning show -- it includes two breaks!
